Fake Mail offering job at Tata Steel UK

I will provide a summary of the incident before letting you read through the details:

1. I receive email from a sender claiming to be HR Executive Director of Tata Steel Group UK

2. I doubt the sender as the email his email address ends with 'englandmail.com'. Strangely this is also via oakland.edu

3. I decide to play and send my CV. What harm could they bring with that? 

4. I receive a quick response. I am among 32 selected and 28 would join and blah blah blah... There is also an attachment in the mail. It's nice impressive fake document from Tata. 

5. I 'Google' and find the original Tata UK people and send them a note on their website to confirm with them

6. I also, check the registration number of the company provided in the email. Clearly that registration number was found not belonging to Tata Steel. 

7. I receive email from the original Tata's stating that the email I received is fraudulent.
8. Somebody falling in trap will end up loosing £399 as this is demanded as a security deposit for the fully paid face-to-face interview at UK.
